Applications are invited from Unmarried/Married male and Unmarried female and also from the Wards of Battle Casualities of Army Personnel, for grant of Short Service Commissionin the Indian Army

Short Service Commission	(a) Degree of a recognised University or equivalent with aggregate of minimum 50% marks taking into account marks of all the years. (ab) Those studying in third year are also allowed to apply provided they have secured minimum 50% aggregate marks in the first two years. Such students will need to secure overall agreegate of minimum 50% marks if selected in interview failing which their candidature will be cancelled. The candidate must posses graduation degree at the time of joining training at OTA. The candidates studying in the third year of graduation should be able to produce the degree within 12 weeks from the date of commencement of training at OTA. Such candidate will be inducted for training at OTA on additional bond basis for recovery of the cost of training as notified from time to time as well as stipened and pay and allowances paid, in case they fail to produce the requisite degree certificate	NCC Men 50, NCC Women 04

The Indian Army invited from Indian citizens both male and female, who have passed their final MBBS examination in first or second attempt and completed internship for grant of Short Service Commission in the Army Medical Corps

Method of Selection : Eligible candidates will be called for interview by a Board of Officers in the month of April-May at Army Hospital (Research &Referral) New Delhi near Dhaula Kuan, Delhi Cantt. to assess their suitability and merit for grant of Short Service Commission in the Armed Forces Medical Services. The candidates appearing for interview for the firsttime will be paid to and fro sleeper-class railway/ bus fare

Emoluments : Rs.17160-39100/-

Physical & Medical Standard : Every candidate on his / her having been qualified in interview will be produced before a duly constituted Medical Board by DGAFMS for examining his or her medical fitness as per laid down standards

Application Processing Fee : Candidates are required to enclo se a non refundable Demand Draft of any Nationalised Bank for Rs 200/- (Two Hundred only) payable at New Delhi in favour of the Director General Armed Forces Medical Services (APF Fund ). Candidates should write name & address on the reverse of demand draft. It is required to ensure that the demand draft bears code number of
issuing Bank.

An open Recruitment Rally for enrolment into Army will be organized            by Army Recruiting Office, Calicut at Government Stadium Kavaratti              for male candidates of UT of Lakshadweep for Soldier Nursing             Assistant and Tradesmen categories.

Written Exam : Common Entrance Exam of rally fit candidates will be         held at Kavaratti on 24 Feb 2012 and balance candidates declared fit        after medical review will be held on 28 Apr 2013 at ARO Calicut.  All candidates are warned not to carry any type of communication device      during written test.  Candidates are liable to be frisked  during CEE.           Any violation by any candidate in this regard, apart form automatic disqualification of candidature and  ban from future screening would           also invite legal prosecution. There will be negative marking for GD & Tradesman Category.
