An open Recruitment Rally for enrolment into Army
will be organized by Army Recruiting Office, Calicut at Government Stadium
Kavaratti for male candidates of UT of Lakshadweep for Soldier Nursing Assistant and
Tradesmen categories.

/Intermediate exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and
English with 50% marks aggregate and 40% marks in each subject. OrIn case of a graduate having BSc degree
(Botany/ Zoology/ Bio Science) and English (Simple Pass), the Stipulation of
percentage in XII is waived off. However, the candidate should
have studied all the four specified subjects in class XII also. OrVHSE. Part I, II and Gp II of Part III
with 50% marks in aggregate and 40% in each subject.

Physical Measurement Test for UT of
Lakshadweep : (i) Ht 155 cms ,Wt-50 kgs and chest 77/82 cms for
Lakshadweep (Locals) only. , (ii) Ht 165 cms, Wt-50 kgs and chest 77/82 cms for
Lakshadweep (Settlers) only. (iii) Ht 155 cms for (Locals), 165 cms
for (Settlers), Wt-48 kgs and chest 76/81 cms for Soldier Tradesman. , (iv) Ht 155 cms for (Locals), 162 cms for (Settlers), Wt–50 kgs and
chest 77/82 cms for Soldier Clerk/Store Keeper categories.
Service Benefits : Total emoluments about Rs 16,000/- and above. Promotion from Sepoy to Subedar Major and Honorary rank of Captain. Opportunity
to get commission as Gazetted Officer. Field/Border and High Altitude Area
Allowances, Counter Insurgency Allowances. Free rail journey once in a year
during leave and 50% concession on subsequent journey by rail during leave.

Written Exam : Common
Entrance Exam of rally fit candidates will be held at Kavaratti on 24 Feb 2012
and balance candidates declared fit after medical review will be held on 28 Apr
2013 at ARO Calicut. All candidates are warned not to carry any type of
communication device during written test. Candidates are liable to be
frisked during CEE. Any violation by any candidate in this regard, apart
form automatic disqualification of candidature and ban from future
screening would also invite legal prosecution. There will be negative marking
for GD & Tradesman Category.
